Designed for loose lay use on sub-floors underneath electric underfloor heating system. Water resistant and sound dampening, the insulation will not rot or allow mould growth, protecting against moisture, cold and damp from subfloors over time. The closed cell structure of the extruded polystyrene has a high 3 tog rating and does not conduct heat. Heat will instead be effectively reflected back towards the floor surface, maximising thermal conductivity and lowering energy consumption.
